1. When is Holiday "Lite" Up Night?

The Shaler Township Holiday "Lite" Up Night is held the Saturday before Thanksgiving at 7 p.m. at the Shaler North Hills Library and Shaler Area Middle School on Mt. Royal Boulevard across from Shaler North HIlls Library. Santa Claus makes a special appearance this evening to help celebrate the holiday season kick off. Light Up Night is sponsored by the Shaler Neighborhood Improvement Committee.

Halloween is always celebrated in Shaler Township on October 31. It is recommended that trick-or-treaters visit homes between the hours of 6 - 8 p.m.
