[ARCHIVED] Congratulations Lt. Frank!

FBINA Lt Frank

Shaler Township Police Lieutenant Sean Frank was among the 228 law enforcement professionals who recently graduated from the 268th session of the FBI National Academy on June 7, 2017.

The FBI National Academy, located in Quantico, VA, is a prestigious 10 week program known for its academic excellence and is reserved for senior leadership who have demonstrated excellence within their agencies. Course work includes advanced communications, leadership, intelligence theory, legal issues for law enforcement managers, and physical fitness. The course culminates with the infamous “Yellow Brick Road,” a grueling 6 mile run including a 3 mile U.S Marine obstacle course.

The 268th session included students from 47 states and 24 countries. Lt. Frank was nominated to the program by Shaler Police Chief Bryan Kelly, and he now joins Deputy Chief Kevin Boyle as Shaler’s proud alumni of the National Academy program.

Lt. Frank has over 25 years of service with the Shaler Township Police Department. He and his wife, Anita, have three adult daughters. Lt. Frank commented that “The FBI National Academy has been the ultimate law enforcement experience in my career and I am very proud to represent Shaler Township in the National Academy. The academic and physical training was second to none, but the networking with 228 law enforcement leaders around the world is really what sets this training apart from any other training program.”

Shaler Township and the Shaler Township Police Department are proud of Lt. Sean Frank and honored to have another graduate of the FBI National Academy to help lead our department into the future. Congratulations Lt. Frank!
