Trick or Treating in Shaler Township

Halloween

We have been getting a lot of questions surrounding Halloween and Trick-or-Treating this year. This is not a Township sponsored event, so it will be up to you and your family to decide what you are comfortable doing. If you choose to participate, traditional trick-or-treat hours in Shaler are October 31 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.

If you would like to give out candy, please leave your porch light ON.

If you do not want to give out candy, please turn your porch light OFF.

When walking your neighborhood, please try to limit the number of ghosts and goblins in your group, and follow CDC guidelines on mask wearing (superhero or otherwise) and social distancing (except from your candy). Make sure costumes are visible to drivers and consider adding some reflective tape to your costume and carry flashlights or glow sticks to help you see!
