The Allegheny County Department of Public Works today announced that East Pennview Street in Shaler Township will be closed effective August 1, 2016 for the replacement of Pine Creek Bridge No. 11. The bridge is located approximately ¼ mile west of the intersection of East Pennview Street and Route 8.
Traffic will be detoured using Mount Royal Boulevard, Elfinwild Road and Route 8. The closure will be in place until the Spring of 2017. The $1.95 million project is being done by Carman Paliotta Contracting of South Park, PA.
