Cases to be heard:
- Scioto Properties owner of 444 McElheny Road, Glenshaw, PA 15116 is expecting a decision on their case on a substantive validity challenge to the Township zoning ordinance pursuant to Section 909 1 (a)(1) Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code. Applicant asserts that the failure of the Shaler Township zoning ordinance to permit the proposed use in the Residential-1 (R-1) and Residential 2 (R-2) zoning districts violates the Fair Housing Act (42 U.S.C. 3601), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act (29 U.S.C. 701) and the American with Disabilities Act (42 U.S.C. 12101) as well as the Equal Protection Clause of the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- Mr. and Mrs. Henry, 100 Townview Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15209 are seeking a variance to construct a 5’ x 23’ front porch.
- Boyd & Blair Distilleries, 1101 William Flynn Highway Glenshaw, PA. 15116 are requesting a 488 sq. ft signage variance to install two signs.
- Sheetz is requesting a signage variance for new signage at their proposed new location at William Flynn Highway and East Pennview Street.
