The Shaler Township Police were made aware of a threat of violence posted on social media early this morning which referenced “Shaler.” While the threat didn’t specifically indicate that it involved the schools, we took precautions by notifying the Shaler Area School District of the threat.
Shaler Police and the FBI were able to locate the person responsible for posting the threat. The juvenile suspect is being interviewed by law enforcement.
